A Hotel Inn Sunapee

Awesome stay at bluebird Sunapee. Everyone, staff and guests were super friendly. Pool, game room, hangout lobby and basement rec room were perfect for our kids after a day of skiing! We will definitely be back!

I can understand that for some folks this hotel doesn't suit their needs, but as a solo traveler who needed a quick respite from the road, it met my expectations. The design is minimalistic lodge, the room is spartan (but comfortable), and they have some cozy nooks throughout. I personally liked the simplicity of my room. The bed and pillows made sleeping a dream. I would only say - please put a lamp covering over the side lights by the bed. If anything that's the only criticism I can really make. Otherwise, it checked off the three things I find most impressive - cleanliness, comfort, and good water pressure for a hot shower. They don't offer breakfast but there's several restaurants nearby that do. Checking in and out was also very easy. I like that they text you updates and they also have a QR code you can scan to tip housekeeping. And, I loved the Ursa Major products! Hadn't ever heard of them before, but will be looking forward to getting some for my own use at home.

Love love love this place!!! The staff is second to none. They were extremely accommodating from start to finish. The place is spotless and the we loved the rustic style theme. They have a very nice indoor good sized pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. They have a game room and a recreation room downstairs near the pool. They also have an outside fire pit which they offered to light up for us if we wanted. Also an added bonus is there is an Irish restaurant with a full bar right next door, plus local restaurants within minutes too. We were scheduled to stay one overnight here and we moved on to our next hotel the next day and ended up leaving with out staying due to a bad reception desk. The bluebird welcomed us back with out issue. It was just the best experience as it should be and then some. We will definitely be going back.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great common areas! It has an great pool, game room, and rec room. And the locker rooms have boot dryers!! Glad we picked here to spend some time during winter break and looking forward to staying there again.

We stayed here by accident on thanksgiving night when a snow storm forced us off the highway, and I’m so glad we ended up here! Great value for the price. It was super cozy and also kid friendly. My son was able to play air hockey in the game room, lounge in the spacious and tasteful lounge areas, and I loved the fireplace on the first floor. Well curated mini-store with local snacks and gifts. I don’t ski but really appreciated the detail of the locker room with special space to dry your ski/now boots and store gear. Wish I had my swim suit because the pool looked inviting too. Comfortable rooms and accommodating staff. Loved the thoughtful design elements throughout the building. All around great experience especially after a stressful drive in the snow! Next time hope to try the pub/restaurant next door too.

This was a late booking and to be honest I wasn’t expecting that much given it is a 2*. However! We were very pleasantly surprised. We arrived late but friendly member of staff on checkin. Room was comfy, good towels/ toiletries/ microwave/ mini fridge. Comfy bed. Best shower of our trip. Good pub right next door. Recommended!

My husband and I spent a few nights at this hotel to transition our daughter into Dartmouth college. It’s like 40 mins away but refreshing and clean! The stay was relaxing and the room was comfortably pleasant. The shower gel and hand soap were spa grade and overall, We would definitely stay here again. Plus we spent an extra day and did the beach that was 5 mins away and also enjoyed the heated pool and outdoor eating space at the hotel. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel where we got brunch and dinner and the trip was effortless. Everything was at our disposal. Food, ambience, nature, comfort and relaxation. Also they’re remodeling and I can’t wait to see the transformation in a few weeks.

Really had a great stay here! The room was clean, well furnished, and spacious. The hotel itself was cozy and had a great atmosphere, there's also a great restaurant a stone throws away which was very convenient - you can walk to it. Wifi was actually really good as well 80/80 or 100/100mbps consistently which was really nice as the area is mountainous and has spotty cell reception for most carriers. For the price it's probably one of best value in the Sunapee area for hotels.
